What we do

For more than 35 years, we have provided community-based support across Lancashire and Greater Manchester to adults and young people aged 14 and above with learning disabilities to empower them to enjoy the same rights and choices as everyone else.

Our approach is centred around meeting each individual’s needs and aspirations. We work with partner agencies to give the people we support access to opportunities to live a valued and full life – from hobbies and education to housing and employment.

Our services can be funded through a range of options – from personal budgets and direct payments to self-funding. Speak to us today about the solutions that will work for you.

Supported living services

We support people to live the life they choose in homes in the community. Through flexible, tailored support we empower the people we work with to live full and valued lives – from supporting with day-to-day aspects of home life such as cleaning and personal care, to sorting bills and getting out and about in the community.

We have specialist services for deaf people and for women, and we can help people to organise tenancies or alternatively support them in their own home with their partners, parents or carers.

Specialist D/deaf service

Within our supported living service, we have a specialist team who work with people who are D/deaf or hard of hearing across Lancashire to live independent and fulfilled lives within their community.

Our specialist D/deaf support service is made up of a team of individuals, many of whom are D/deaf or hard of hearing themselves. If you are interested in finding out more about working within our D/deaf support service, please contact us.

Day Opportunities

Our day opportunities uphold our belief that every person has a right to be a valued member of their community, by providing the people we support with a range of opportunities and to be a part of one of our Social Enterprise teams. From gardening and packing to wood recycling and mechanics, our enterprises provide a safe, welcoming and fun space to develop as a part of a team; learning new skills, and enjoying purposeful work experience.
